As part of our ongoing updates on refunds from the Michigan Catastrophic Claims Association, Citizens Insurance Company has announced that they will send refunds for eligible vehicles by May 8th. If you had an auto with at least liability only insured through Citizens on 10/31/21 you should receive a refund of $400 per car. (Historic vehicles will receive $80).
***Update as of 3/21, 2022:
Citizens will begin mailing refunds in the form of check and will begin mailing them today, March 21st. They expect to have them all mailed by April 14th, in advance of the May 9th deadline.
