As part of our ongoing updates on refunds from the Michigan Catastrophic Claims Association, Safeco Insurance Company has announced that they will be notifying all clients who are eligible for the refund and will be issuing them in the form of a check or an ACH deposit to your bank account if your payment plan on your auto policy is one where they make withdrawals directly from your account.
They expect to have all refunds issued by the deadline of May 9th.
Autos and motorcycles insured on a personal auto policy with the required liability in effect as of Oct. 31, 2021 will receive $400 per vehicle.
Historic/antique autos insured on a personal auto policy with the required liability in effect as of Oct. 31, 2021 will receive $80 per historic/antique auto.
